Welcome Beloved to the Gethsemane Baptist Church Website
We are tremendously thankful that you responded to the move and direction of the Holy Spirit as He led you to our web page. I firmly believe that it was no accident that God led you here, and I am sure that you will receive a greater blessing by visiting us at Gethsemane.
Recently one Sunday while in the pulpit, I looked out into the congregation and realized that one of our members had not been in service for several weeks. It donned on me that she had told me of an impending medical procedure she had to undergo which would keep her out of church for a couple of months.
"The Gethsemane Sentinel Newsletter comes back at a good time!"
The Gethsemane Sentinel Newsletter is back after a long sabbatical. However, it comes at a time when it is most appropriate as significant changes are being made in the history of our church with the Nehemiah Project and the “Challenge to the Chosen” that has come along with this endeavor.
The 47th Annual Session of the Progressive National Baptist Convention will take place starting August 4th–9th in Atlanta, GA. For details, contact Deaconess Shirley McCall (mccalls589@aol.com)
