Why The Gethsemane Sentinel Newsletter Was Created
The Gethsemane Sentinel was created in 1979 to be the focal point for all members who were seeking to enhance the spiritual quality of their lives as well as those of the community at large.
Under its format the paper carried news and information about upcoming events, past events, spiritual values, political and social isssues, education, religion, music, unit notes, Trustee and Deacon Board information, sick lists, funerals and other information of general interest.
In December of 2007, the voices of The Gethesemane Sentinel were heard again after being silent for nearly nine years.
